Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Coalition

header image

The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Coalition is made up of agencies, service providers and interested citizens who want to educate the community about the needs of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our group formed over ten years ago as a local planning body, and became affiliated with the Community Action Network in 1999. The coalition has produced an assessment of the issues surrounding people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and has produced several FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) documents. The group meets bi-monthly, and more frequently as necessary. Membership is open to anyone who is interested in people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

Vision

People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities have full access and participation in our community.

Mission

Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Coalition is a consortium of organizations dedicated to promoting a seamless continuum of services and supports necessary for improving the lives of all people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
